Children’s competition
Deadline : entries must be received by Sunday 4 August by filling in this online form.
There are three age categories:
- Year 1 and 2
- Year 3 and 4
- Year 5 and 6
This is the year that the child has just been in (not the year they will be in when they restart school in September)
Prizes : £50 to school of winner of each category to be spent on environmental/green purchases eg
seeds for gardens, trees/hedging plants, tools for use at school
Photos can be taken using mobile phone
camera or any other camera. Each child can submit a maximum of two photos. All photos must have
been taken during 2024. Competition entries will be decided by local judge whose decision is final.
Additional information : winners photos will be displayed at Winchcombe summer show on 26 August at WGT stall
Adult competition
Subsections : older children aged 11 to 17 years, and adults aged 18 yr +
Prizes : display winning photo at the Winchcombe summer show and made into cards to be sold at
future events WGT attends
Title of all competitions : ‘Inspired by nature around Winchcombe’
